(Blaine Tech),to describe the results of groundwater monitoring that was
performed at the subject site on August 22, 1996.
During their May site visit,Blaine Tech gauged and sampled all twelve site-related wells. The measured
direction of groundwater flow was generally toward the west under a hydraulic gradient of 0.01 ft/ft.
These flow conditions are unusual for the subject site and will be confirmed during the next monitoring
event. All groundwater samples were analyzed for the presence of TPHGas and BTEX constituents.
Samples were also analyzed for various ions to evaluate the potential for intrinsic bioremediation. The
measured concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons were consistent with those detected during previous
site monitoring events. There were no dissolved hydrocarbons detected at wells MW-10,MW-I1, and
MW-12.
The results of the intrinsic bioremediation evaluation will be presented as soon as they become available.
If you have any questions or comments, I can be reached at(510)842-8695.
Sincerely,
Brett L.Hunter
Environmental Engineer
Site Assessment and Remediation
Attachment
cc: Gordon Boggs, Central Valley RWQCB, Sacramento, CA
Ron Berberian,2021 W.
