13 July 2012
AGE-NC Project No.96-0236
MW-2, MW-4, MW-9, DPE-1 and DPE-2 at concentrations between 3 pg/I (MW-2)
and 140 pg/I (MW-4).
• Various metals/anions were reported in all samples analyzed for these constituents
and are summarized in Tables 4 and 5. Notably, hexachrome (CrVI)and chromium
were not detected in any of the samples collected during baseline sampling.
4.2.2. Post-ISCO Injection Monitoring Event No. 1: Analytical Results
On 25 April 2012, post injection ground water samples were collected from wells MW-1A,
MW-2, MW4, DPE-1 and DPE-2 to evaluate the effectiveness of the ISCO pilot test. The
following is a summary of the results:
• TPH-g were detected in all five samples at concentrations ranging from 140 pg/I
(DPE-2) and 300,000 pg/I (MW-4).
• BTEX constituents were detected in all five samples at maximum concentrations of
17,000 pg/I benzene, 9,800 pg/I toluene, 3,300 pg/I ethylbenzene and 24,900 pg/I
total xylenes (MW-4).
• TAME and 1,2-DCA were detected in all five samples at maximum concentrations
of 19 pg/I and 88 pg/I, respectively (MW-4).
• Various metals/anions were reported in all five samples and are summarized in
Tables 4 and 5. Notably, calcium, magnesium, sodium and iron generally increased
in all sampled wells. Further, anions bromide, bromate, chloride nitrate as N, Nitrite
as N, sulfate and ammonia decreased in all wells except DPE-2. Chromium and
hexavalent chromium were not reported in samples collected during the 25 April
2012 post-ISCO monitoring event.
4.2.3. Post-ISCO Injection Monitoring Event No. 2: Analytical Results
On 02 May 2012, post injection ground water samples were collected from wells MW-1A,
MW-2, MW-4, DPE-1 and DPE-2 to evaluate the effectiveness of the ISCO pilot test. The
following is a summary of the results:
• TPH-g were detected in all five samples at concentrations ranging from 1,000 pg/I
(DPE-2) and 280,000 pg/I (MW-4).
• BTEX constituents were detected in five samples at maximum concentrations of
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
