Should the well(s) be placed adjacent to property owned by someone other than the
owner of the property requesting this permit, the applicant for this permit shall submit
proof that the property owner adjacent to the well drilling operation has been notified
of the proposed drilling. Proof may consist of a copy of a letter mailed to the property
owner along with proof of delivery of that letter.
The Revocable Permit application should be made by, and financial security supplied by, the
parry responsible for the permanent maintenance of the well. Usually, the party responsible
is the owner of the site requiring the well.
Following the issuance of the Revocable Permit, an Encroachment Permit must be issued to
allow the actual construction activity within the City right-of-way. The Encroachment Permit
may be issued to whomever is performing the work. The fee for this permit is $128.00.
Please return all documents to this department for processing.
