WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS -7- <br /> LIBBEY-OWENS-FORD COMPANY <br /> LATHROP PLANT NO. 10 <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Monthly Daily <br /> Constituents Units Average Maximum <br /> Chlorine Residual mg/l -- 0.1 <br /> Fluoride mg/l -- 23 <br /> 1 Based on the total maximum production of the facility (750 <br /> tons/day Float Glass; 150,000 sq. ft/day Tempered Automotive <br /> Glass: and 100,000 sq. ft/day Laminated Automotive Glass) . <br /> Actual mass limits must be calculated weekly based on the <br /> average daily production calculated on a weekly basis. The <br /> mass limits for each production line (Discharges 001 , 002, and <br /> 003) may then be added together and compared to a single <br /> sample of the combined effluents for compliance. <br /> 2 Trichlorotrifluoroethane Extraction Method <br /> 3 Compliance with the phosphorous limitations for discharges 001 <br /> and 003 shall be based on total phosphorus in the effluent <br /> less the amount of phosphorus in the supply and ground water <br /> infiltration waters at the facility. <br /> 4 5-day, 20°C Biochemical Oxygen Demand <br /> 5 Based on maximum discharge of 25,000 <br /> g gallons per day of <br /> domestic wastewater. <br /> 6 Based on a maximum discharge of 25,000 <br /> g gallons per day of <br /> domestic wastewater and maximum production of Float Glass, <br /> Laminated Glass, and Tempered Glass lines. <br /> 6. The discharge shall not have a pH less than 6.5 nor greater than <br /> 8.5. <br /> 7. The 30-day average daily dry weather discharge shall not exceed 2.1 <br /> million gallons. <br /> 8. By-pass or overflow of untreated or partially-treated waste is <br /> prohibited, except as allowed in Standard Provision A.12. <br />
