At least three casing volumes of water will be purged from each well.Purged water will be discharged to the ground in the vicinity of the wells. The groundwater samples will be collected with clean, disposable bailers and transferred to laboratory supplied containers. The type of containers for each analyte is listed in Table 1, below. Each container will be labeled for sample identification and placed in a cooler chilled with Blue Ice. Upon completion of the fieldwork, the water samples will be delivered under chain-of-custody procedures to a state-certified laboratory for analyses. 4.7 LABORATORY ANALYSES Groundwater samples will be tested for the constituents and parameters listed in the Groundwater Monitoring and Reporting Program of the WDR Order No. 5-01-114 for the Pilkington North America, Inc. facility in San Joaquin County. They are relisted in Table 1,below. At a minimum the report will include: (1) project background information, (2) a description of the fieldwork conducted at the site, (3)the laboratory results (including a tabular summary and the laboratory analytical reports), (4) a scaled site plan and groundwater contour map, (5) drilling logs, (6) conclusions, and(7) recommendations.
