This Soil Assessment Work Plan is submitted in response to a telephone conversation with <br /> the San Joaquin County Department of Health Services.(SJCDHS)on January 21,1997. As part of the <br /> SJCDHS Tank Relining requirements,collection and analysusof soil samples from beneath-the ends of <br /> each underground storage tank(UST)is required prior to permit approval for tank relining. The scope of <br /> work includes advancing six angled borings to a vertical depth of 15 feet below ground surface(BGS) <br /> beneath the ends of each of the three underground storage tanks(USTs)at the site. <br /> TASK 1: SITE-SPECIFIC HEALTH AND SAFETY PLA NjPERMIT`f'ING <br /> A site-specific Health and Safety Pian wi11 be prepared by Fluor Daniel GTI asrequiredby the <br /> Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA)5tandgrd."Hazarctous Waste Operations and <br /> Emergency Response"guidelines(29 CFR 1910.120).
