303 Carlson Street
Vallejo, CA 94590
December 13, 2017
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Mr. Muniappa Naidu, Program Coordinator
1868 E. Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95205
RE: PG&E-Stockton Service Center, CERS ID: 10148345, 4040 West Ln, Stockton, CA 95204
Greetings Mr. Naidu,
We respectfully request to have the following electronic CERS note in BOLD from Domenique
Martorella of your office removed as a condition of acceptance:
"Comments by regulator: Please note that the Hazardous Materials inventory site map must contain the
following information: north orientation, loading areas, internal roads, adjacent streets, storm and sewer drains,
access and exit points, emergency shutoffs, evacuation staging areas, hazardous material handling and
storage areas and emergency response equipment. If a site map element is not applicable for your facility
then list it on the map and label as 'NA'.'
PG&E brought this to the attention of CAL FIRE— Office of the State Fire Marshal where the
request was initiated per our telephone discussion on November 17, 2017. A CAL FIRE
inspector recommended this additional step as part of your CERS review.
Our staff reviews each HMBP prior to submittal. The legend is pail of standard operating
procedure where we refer to the legend to identify and locate site specific required inventory site
map information on our facility layout maps.
CAL FIRE concurs with PG&E"if a site map element is not applicable for your facility then list
it on the map and label as `NA"', is not required for CERS acceptance.
PG&E looks forward to a response from you and San Joaquin County in regards to removing this
condition. I can be reached at 925-852-1862 if you have any conuuents or concerns.
Thank you,
I p
Cyn 'a Pappas
Sr. Enviromnental Scientist
cc: Daniel Sanchez, Manager—HazMat and Waste, Environmental Mgt. and Programs - Pacific
Gas and Electric Company
