1 <br /> Ground Zero Analysis, Inc. <br /> SITE SAFETY PLAN <br /> FACILITY BACKGROUND <br /> The site currently operates as a automotive service center. A 550-gallon underground storage tank <br /> (UST) was used for storage of waste oil. The actual date of installation of the tank is not known. <br /> The UST was removed in May 2000. Field and laboratory evidence indicated a release of <br /> petroleum and chlorinated hydrocarbons. <br /> WORK PLAN <br /> Task One: Advance up to five (5) soil borings using a truck mounted Geoprobe 5400 direct <br /> push drilling rig to depths of approximately 30 feet below ground surface in area of the former <br /> UST to determine current concentrations of residual soil contamination resulting from past site <br /> operations and to determine if groundwater has been impacted by an unauthorized release. <br /> Task Two: Collect soil samples from each boring at minimum 5-foot intervals for logging and <br /> submittal to a state-certified laboratory for analysis.
