Former Georges Servo Page 2
1600 Durham Ferry Road 16 October 2008
Tracy, CA 95376
and submitted WP to acquire the data. GTI proposed to advance up to 15 geoprobe
borings to a maximum depth of 40 feet below surface grade and collect soil and
groundwater samples to refine the delineation of impacted soil and groundwater and the
distribution of the contaminant mass. The EHD approves WP as necessary and
adequate, but recommends that an additional boring be advanced near the proposed
location for air sparge well AS-10 to assess the plume of impacted groundwater in that
area. The EHD will not comment further on the ORC Advanced injection proposal
pending receipt and review of the results of the geoprobe investigations and the ensuing
recommendations from GTI.
In GWMS GTI proposed to reduce the sampling frequency from quarterly to annually for
monitoring wells MW-3, MW-6, MW-2X, MW-101, MW-105, MW-102, MW-107, MW-201,
and MW-202, and domestic wells DW-31448 HWY 33, DW-1600 D.F. and DW-1697
D.F. The EHD approves this proposal except for monitoring well MW-107 and the
domestic wells. Continue to sample the domestic wells quarterly and monitoring well
MWA07 semi-annually.
Questions or comments may be directed to Nuel Henderson at (209) 468-3436.
Nuel C.
