(GTI). The RAP and <br /> Memos 1 and 2 were modified in response to the EHD comment letter dated <br /> 16 January 2008 and telephone conversations between the EHD and GTI on <br /> 12 February 2008 and 18 March 2008. <br /> The EHD approves the following scope of work as proposed in the various GTI <br /> documents cited above: <br /> • Installation of monitoring wells MW-11 and MW-12 as proposed in Memo <br /> 3 to monitor the effects of air sparging. <br /> • Completion of the two-week soil vapor extraction (SVE) test as proposed <br /> in Memo 2. <br /> • Installation of up to 15 insitu air sparging (IAS) wells onsite and conduct <br /> the IAS pilot test at the 'bio-mode' low flow rate as proposed in Memo 2 <br /> and Memo 3. <br /> The EHD requires additional information before approving installation of the <br /> proposed 48 ORC-injection point borings, injection of the ORC-Advanced and <br /> installation of monitoring wells MW-9 and MW-10, which were proposed to <br /> monitor the effects of the ORC-Advanced application(s). The Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) must determine whether or <br /> not it will be necessary to write Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs) for <br /> WP Comment Letter 0408.doc <br />
