' Geological Tecwa kc Page 6
Groundwater Monitoring Report
Project No 425 2
May 10,2005
' Domestics Wells:
• Three domestic wells (1697 D F , 1600 `A' D F and 31448 Hwy 33) were tested and
found non-detect for the tested gasoline constituents above the laboratory detection
' limits
3.0 FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
The laboratory analytical data generated during the April 11, 2005 groundwater-monitoring
event indicates that TPH-G constituents have been detected in Zone A&Zone B The results
of the April 2005 event are comparable with the results from previous morutoring events
The following observations are made
Zone A:
' • The horizontal groundwater bearing calculated from the Zone A wells, is currently
towards the northeast
• TPH-g and BTEX concentrations in MW-1 (Table 8 A & Figure 7) varies widely
' historically
• MW-2 continues to show high TPH-g and BTEX concentrations 1,2-DCE detected in
MMW-2 indicates the degradation of MTBE
• Contamination has not been detected in MW-3 This indicates that the contamination
plume has not reached MW-3
' • MW-4 continues to show nearly constant TPH-g concentrations This indicates that
contamination plume is not moving towards MW-4
• MW-5 shows the seasonal variations in contaminant concentrations
• MW-6 & MW-7 remained non-detect However, trace concentrations of 1,2 DCE has
been detected in MW-7
• The analytical data of MW-8 indicates that the contamination plume is widening towards
MW-8
Zone B:
• The bearing calculated from the Zone B wells is to the northwest
• MTBE and 1,2 DCE were detected in MW-106 among the Zone B monitoring wells
which indicates movement of very small contamination through a thin lens of sand
' towards MW-106 However, Zone B appears to be free from gasoline contamination
plume
Zone C & D:
• Vertical groundwater gradients were positive in the Zone A / Zone B and Zone B /Zone
D well parrs
• Zone C &Zone D appears to be out of contaminant plume area
