I
a ITTS IntGVAty Tank Testing Systems,Inc.
t
w
I Page 2
I
TEST DATA & RESULTS
i ' Site: REEVE'S EXXON STATION, Tracy, CA
+.a The negative results shown on page one may be due to a partially
collapsed vapor pocket; however, your system appears, based upon
our visual inspection during testing, to be properly vented_ If
this is the case, the data generated indicates that you do not
have a tight tank system.
i.. If you have been keeping good inventory records, and they do not
show losses, chances are that the product is being lost through
Plumbing that is above the top of the tank. About 98% of the time
we show unexplainable losses during testing, the plumbing is found
to be the culprit.
As we can not see through the systems covering, we can only
speculate which line is leaking. The most common leaks occur in
the vent and the phase two vapor return lines. The only positive
way in which to determine which line is leaking is to remove the
covering down to the top of the tank and test each line
separately.
You do have an immediai,e responsibility to adviseour
y governing
agency that you did not "pass" the annual precision tank test. At
the same time, you will need to advise them of the action you are
taking to reraedy the situation.
The action you may wish to take may involve one or all of the
following; Obtain a second opinion full, system precision test;
conduct an underfilled
precision test to determine the condition
of the tank only; uncover the various 1:.nes at the top of the tank
and testi each line seperately.
Please advise if you need additional assistance or information, `
r„
6W 26F 378 166 rzaaY west circle Stockton, CA 95206 (2097 44&SW6
