• <br /> Mr. Andrew Smith -2 - 27 November 2002 <br /> 4. Figure 4 of the Report shows that the lateral extent of pollution in the deeper zone is not <br /> defined. <br /> 5. The Report proposing decommissioning MW-1 and installing a new well near the former <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs). Figure 2 in the Report shows a proposed well across <br /> Eight Mile Road, about 175 feet from the former USTs, which is not near the USTs. <br /> H&H Marina needs to clarify the location of the proposed well. <br /> Although Board staff concurs with the recommendation to decommission MW-1 and install a <br /> new well near the former USTs, additional delineation activities may be needed. Therefore, by <br /> 1 February 2003,please submit the annual groundwater monitoring report that includes all the <br /> groundwater monitoring data from the installation of the new wells and recommendations for <br /> additional monitoring wells to delineate the lateral extent in both the shallow and deeper water <br /> bearing zones.
