CHRONOLOGY <br /> 15135 EIGHT MILE ROAD, STOCKTON <br /> 10/30/91 Five underground storage tanks (USTs) located in the same <br /> excavated area were removed. Two of the USTs were removed <br /> without Environmental Health Division (EHD) witness or inspection. <br /> A 10,000 gallon, a 3,000 gallon and a 1000 gallon UST were <br /> removed with EHD inspection. Soil samples were collected <br /> beneath these three USTs. Odor and discoloration of the soil was <br /> noted. <br /> 12/2/91 EHD received the soil sample results showing petroleum <br /> contamination. <br /> 12/23/91 The responsible party was sent notification that further investigation <br /> at the site was needed. <br /> 03/14/95 The site was placed in the Local Oversight Program. <br /> 08/25/95 Three hydropunch borings were placed around the former UST <br /> area. Soil and groundwater samples were collected from each <br /> boring. <br /> 09/26/95 Report of hydropunch investigation. <br /> 08/29/96 Five geoprobes were advanced at the site with soil and <br /> groundwater samples collected. <br /> 09/30/96 Report of geoprobe work. Highest contamination is in GP4 which <br /> was located by the above ground storage tanks being operated at <br /> the site. <br /> 09/97 Four monitoring wells were installed at the site. <br /> 12/11/97 Report of the monitoring well installation. <br /> 9/00 13 borings advanced at the site (geoprobe, hollow stem auger, <br /> hand auger) all downgradient of the above ground storage tanks. <br /> 10/2/00 Report of September 2000 work. <br />
