Versar - MCLaren/Hart <br /> 5 12 East Weber Avenue (South of Property) Fertilizer Company <br /> ("Growers Fertilizer Co ") from mid 1920's <br /> to late 1920's or early 1930's (not listed in <br /> 1932) <br /> 6 16 East Weber Avenue (South of Property) Printing ("L D Rivera <br /> Printing", "Quality Print Shop") from early <br /> to mid 1940's to early to mid 1960's <br /> 7 130 North E1 Dorado Street (East of Property) Goodyear Auto Service <br /> ("Goodyear Sery Store Tires") from mid <br /> 1930's to early 1990's <br /> Regulatory Agency Interviews <br /> Versar-McLaren/Hart interviewed personnel with the SJCEHD regarding properties of <br /> concern in the vicinity of the Site SJCEHD personnel stated that there are two properties <br /> . currently under investigation by SJCEHD for releases to the subsurface media The property <br /> located on the northeast corner of East Channel Street and North El Dorado Street, formerly a <br /> gasoline station (name unknown), has groundwater monitoring wells that are impacted with <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons The full lateral extent of the impacted groundwater and the source of <br /> the contamination are unknown The former Goodyear facility, currently the Glass Outlet, <br /> previously contained a waste oil UST, and is currently under investigation for subsurface <br /> impacts The extent of impacts at the Goodyear facility is unknown at this time <br /> 3 0 SITE ASSESSMENT OBSERVATIONS <br /> Versar-McLaren/Hart personnel conducted a field survey of the Site for evidence of <br /> hazardous substances, potential hazardous substance sources, and other matters of potential <br /> environmental concern The on-site investigation assessed the Site for the use, storage, handling, <br /> and disposal of potentially hazardous substances as well as indications of possible past, present, <br /> or future releases of such substances into the environment The Site was visually assessed for <br /> aboveground and underground storage tanks, pipes drums, sumps ponds, floor drains, dry wells <br /> teach fields, and other types of containment or drainage facilities into which hazardous <br /> substances may have been placed The Site was also assessed for indications of dumping, <br /> staining of soils and paved surfaces, odors, distressed vegetation, and other evidence suggesting <br /> the possibility of hazardous substances The survey included an assessment of all reasonably <br /> accessible portions of the Site The following sections discuss the findings of the inspection <br /> • <br /> -9- <br />
