Samples will be drawn and collected in such <br /> a manner that agitation and exposure of the groundwater to the atmosphere are minimal. <br /> 4.4.4. Sample Handling <br /> Ground water samples will be vllected into laboratory supplied containers and analyzed for the <br /> constituents listed in Section. Samples will be collected in three 40-m1 volatile organic analysis <br /> (VOA)vials(for the analysis of TPH-g,BTEX and fuel additives)without preservative. Following <br /> collection, samples will be placed.ori,ice_and kept in a cooler until delivered to the laboratory for <br /> analysis.Chain-of-custody protocols will be used to document sample custody transfer from the field <br /> to the analytical laboratory. A chain-of-custody form will accompany the samples. <br /> 4.5. EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION/WASTE MANAGEMENT <br /> All sampling tools used for sample collection, except for disposable bailers, will be thoroughly <br /> rinsed with clean water after being washed with a solution of Alconox. All down-hole drilling <br /> equipment will be pressure washed prior to starting each boring. Cuttings and rinseate generated <br /> during drilling activities and ground water generated from sampling activities will be containerized <br /> in properly labeled DOT-approved 55-gallon drums, and stored on-site.
