(Orion)
has revised the proposed groundwater monitoring well locations (See Figure 2
attached) for the Work Plan at the subject property. This Work Plan was prepared
to address the 'letter from the San Joaquin County Public Health Service (SJCPHS)
dated 30 August 1999. Additionally, I have attached a copy of the Revocable
Permit Application which was submitted by Orion acting as the Consultant for
Bridgestone/Firestone (BFS) and sent under separate cover to the City of Stockton.
BFS has submitted preliminary documents to,the UST Cleanup Fund and is also
preparing additional information for this site. As such, BFS will need an approval
of the work plan and its costs from the agency. Please advise Orion regarding the
type of information that the Agency will require for approvals.
If you have any questions or comments regarding this revised figure or Permit
Application, please call Harry Takach at 562/988-2755.
Very truly yours,
ORION ENVIRONMENTAL INC.
C
Harry J. ach, Ph.D.
Senior Project Manager
Attachments
Copy: Debra Hamlin --Bridgestone/Firestone, Rolling Meadows, Illinois
S:BFS/5tockton/5TLtr002.doc
