Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed mouse droppings throughout the facility(not on food contact surfaces): on top of boxes in the <br /> storage room by the kitchen, on the floor of the storage room (under hand sink and by CO2 tanks and soda syrup boxes), on <br /> sales floor shelving (under packaged peanuts), inside all of the cabinets at the beverage island, and on the floor around and <br /> in between boxes and trash cans,water pallets and tables in the rear storage room. <br /> There is a strong odor of urine in the cabinets at the beverage island. Wipe down the interior of the cabinets with a sanitizer. <br /> Immediately take action to remove mouse droppings throughout the facility. Clean and sanitize all areas. Pull back <br /> equipment and clean underneath. Discard any items that have gnaw marks. <br /> Employee began to actively clean up droppings. <br /> Owner called Clark Pest Control while on site to request a service call. <br /> Provide copies of pest control invoices to inspector at 2nd re-inspection in 2 weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There are open boxes/bags of food in the walk-in freezer(biscuits, and breaded fish fillets.).
