Analytical results for soil samples collected from
the base of the former product-storage tank pit excavation
reported up to 3,400 ppm TPH-as-gasoline. Soil samples analyzed I
- from the former waste-oil tank and pump island locations were
p
below laboratory MDL. The excavation of the former product-
storage
..
storage tank pit was halted at a depth of approximately 20-feet
below grade, due to equipment limitations.
Under permit from the San Joaquin County Air Pollution
Control District, the excavated soil was stockpiled on site and
aerated. Once the concentrations of TPH-as-gasoline in the soil
had been reduced to below 1 ppm, it was authorized for use as
backfill material by the SJCHSD. The excavations were backfilled
--- ---=- to-grade--using-
imp= the--aerated n-1-clean soil,-arid-clean— - -------- --
ted soil, and were compacted to meet City of Stockton
building codes.
wd
VF GROUNDWATER
TECHNOLOGY.INC.
y -
