Team members should contact their corporate Environmental Coordinator at <br />ext. 4589 for spill mitigation and reporting assistance. <br />All team members will complete annual training on proper procedures for retail bucket waste storage, <br />handling, and labeling. They will review proper methods for all hazardous waste disposal and record <br />keeping requirements. <br />Evacuation: <br />The manager on duty or applicable team member will notify store team members and customers <br />verbally by "word of mouth." <br />Team members are trained to evacuate the facility through the nearest emergency exit and meet at <br />the predetermined evacuation assembly area. This area is easily accessible and Team members <br />will assist customers for immediate evacuation. The manager on duty will conduct a head count to <br />ensure all team members are present. The manager on duty will assist the emergency response <br />personnel but will not re-enter the facility until the "all clear" is received from the emergency <br />response incident commander. <br />Medical Assistance: <br />If a medical situation should arise, the manager on duty will assess the situation and determine <br />if first aid is sufficient or will notify emergency medical personnel by calling 911. All first aid should <br />be self-administered to help prevent any blood borne pathogen risks. In the event of an exposure to a <br />product or possible poisoning, the appropriate Safety Data Sheet for the chemical should be <br />obtained through the TeamNet portal or by calling the 3E Company at 1-800-451-8346. If <br />necessary, further guidance and assistance may be obtained by contacting the nearest Poison <br />Control Center, <br />Earthquake: <br />The following areas have been identified as areas of the facility, mechanical or other systems that <br />require immediate inspection or isolation because of their vulnerability to earthquake -related ground <br />motion. <br />• Hazardous Materials/Waste Storage Areas <br />• Shelves, Cabinets and Racks <br />• Emergency Shutoff and/or Utility Valves <br />Fire Procedures: <br />In the event of a fire, 911 will be immediately contacted and a facility evacuation will be initiated. <br />The store manager on duty will sound the evacuation verbally or "word of mouth." <br />If safe to do so, trained team members may attempt to extinguish small incipient fires with fire <br />extinguishers located throughout the facility.
