eMQWM,O=PARj&
materials will be recycled off-site or disposed of by licensed hazardous waste vendors at RCRA-
approved facilities. Team members should contact their corporate Environmental Coordinator at
ext. 4589 for spill mitigation and reporting assistance.
All team members will complete annual training on proper procedures for retail bucket waste storage,
handling, and labeling. They will review proper methods for all hazardous waste disposal and record
keeping requirements.
Evacuation:
The manager on duty or applicable team member will notify store team members and customers
verbally by "word of mouth."
Team members are trained to evacuate the facility through the nearest emergency exit and meet at
the predetermined evacuation assembly area. This area is easily accessible and Team members
will assist customers for immediate evacuation. The manager on duty will conduct a head count to
ensure all team members are present. The manager on duty will assist the emergency response
personnel but will not re-enter the facility until the "all clear" is received from the emergency
response incident commander.
Medical Assistance:
If a medical situation should arise, the manager on duty will assess the situation and determine
if first aid is sufficient or will notify emergency medical personnel by calling 911. All first aid should
be self-administered to help prevent any blood borne pathogen risks. In the event of an exposure to a
product or possible poisoning, the appropriate Safety Data Sheet for the chemical should be
obtained through the TeamNet portal or by calling the 3E Company at 1-800-451-8346. If
necessary, further guidance and assistance may be obtained by contacting the nearest Poison
Control Center,
Earthquake:
The following areas have been identified as areas of the facility, mechanical or other systems that
require immediate inspection or isolation because of their vulnerability to earthquake -related ground
motion.
• Hazardous Materials/Waste Storage Areas
• Shelves, Cabinets and Racks
• Emergency Shutoff and/or Utility Valves
Fire Procedures:
In the event of a fire, 911 will be immediately contacted and a facility evacuation will be initiated.
The store manager on duty will sound the evacuation verbally or "word of mouth."
If safe to do so, trained team members may attempt to extinguish small incipient fires with fire
extinguishers located throughout the facility. The fire department should still be contacted to follow
up and ensure that all fire hazards are abated.
O'Reilly Auto Parts Revised 09/14
