Upon discovering an emergency the following series of events will occur: <br /> 1. Notification of on-site personnel <br /> 2. Stop work activities, as necessary <br /> 3. Request Law/Fire/Rescue response, as necessary' <br /> 4. Begin emergency procedures (not in order, depending on the situation) <br /> 5. Allocate staff&equipment resources to manage the situation where possible <br /> 6. Diminish background noises from machinery and increase lighting (as needed during night <br /> operations) <br /> 7. Survey casualties <br /> 8. Extricate and stabilize victims <br /> 9. Assess existing and potential hazards to site personnel and off-site populations <br /> 10. Contain any hazardous substances that may have been released <br /> 11. Evacuate the site, as necessary and go to the designated "Rally Point" unless directed otherwise <br /> 12. Notify the Company Owner <br /> 6.0 EMERGENCY NUMBERS <br /> Emergency telephone numbers (including police,fire, emergency medical services (EMS), hospital, <br /> company site staff, and client staff) will be posted in a conspicuous location. <br /> 7.0 COMMUNICATIONS <br /> Communications will be verbal within the visual range, but may be amended if use of PPE and <br /> equipment prevents verbal communication.An emergency air horn (or equivalent device) shall be <br /> implemented in accordance with CFR 29 Part 1910.165. One solid blast shall alert employees to <br /> evacuate from the site as part of a non-verbal communication. A designated meeting point shall be <br /> established prior to work activities. <br /> Additional internal communication among personnel both onsite and offsite personnel shall be <br /> implemented. Internal communication will be used to: <br /> ■ Alert team members to emergencies <br /> ■ Maintain site control <br /> ■ Communicate changes in work to be accomplished to an emergency situation <br /> ■ Pass along safety information as needed and/or available <br /> 1 Aeromedical response (helicopter MEDEVAC) may be required based on various factors, including <br /> nature and urgency of illness/injury, geographical location of the site, estimated response time of <br /> Fire/Rescue responders, etc. <br /> P.
