ELDORADO STREET
STOCKTON, CA 95206
RE: QUICK & SAVE
1901 SOUTH EL DORADO, STOCKTON CA 95206
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department EHD has reviewed site data and
Additional Site Assessment Yhork Plan Addendum (WP) dated October 1 , 2007, submitted on your
behalf by Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) and has the following comments .
In the WP, AGE proposes to advance four Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT) soil borings 120 feet
below surface grade (bsg) for collection of soil and ground water samples to further define the
vertical extent of petroleum impacted soil and ground water on and off site.
EHD approves the advancement of the proposed CPT soil borings as indicated in the work plan,
but recommends that CPT-2 be the first CPT installed. The total depths on the other CPT borings
can then be adjusted based on the findings of significant sand units in boring CPT-2.
Submit to the EHD a well permit application and $89.00 permit fee, and $294.00 inspection fee
for each parcel drilled and encroachment permit for the boring(s) in the public right of way. Once
the well permits have been approved, notify EHD of the proposed schedule for the work. The
EHD requires a minimum 48-hour notice prior to initiation of any field work on the site. The
EHD directs that the proposed work be implemented by February 25 , 2008 .
Please feel free to contact Frank Girardi at (209) 953 -7868 if you have any questions.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Frank Girardi, Senior REHS Nuel C.
