N -
V
Site Assessment Work Plan
QUICK N SAVE #1
r 1901 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton , California
l
1 .0 . INTRODUCTION
J At the request of Mr. Mohamad Matar, Advanced GeoEnvironmental , Inc. (AGE) has
prepared this Additional Site Assessment Work Plan for 1901 South EI Dorado Street,
Stockton , California (site) . The work plan was prepared as required by the San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) letter dated 24 April 2014 , to
continue delineation of the lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impact to
groundwater at the site , specifically downgradient of site monitoring well MW-5 . A copy
of the SJCEHD directive letter is included in Appendix ASite background information is
included in Appendix B . The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 ; "a plan of the
site is illustrated on Figure 2 . Figures showing the most recent groundwater flow
directions and lateral extent of hydrocarbon impact to groundwater at the site are
j` included as Figures 3 through 7 .
_ l This work plan provides a description of the scope of work and procedures to be used
i for Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT) soil boring advancement, groundwater sample
collection and analysis , and boring abandonment. The plan was prepared in accordance
with the CVRWQCB guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank ( UST)
sites .
2 .0 . SCOPE OF WORK
Based on analytical data from monitoring well MW-5 , the lateral and vertical down-
gradient extent of the hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater is not defined generally off-
site and east of the UST area . The SJCEHD has required that additional groundwater
- investigation be performed to define and confirm the lateral extent of the dissolved
petroleum hydrocarbon contamination east of MW-5 . The proposed scope of work will
include the following tasks :
1 Permitting and pre-field work activities ;
• CPT soil boring advancement and sample collection ; and
• Report preparation .
JEach of these tasks is described in greater detail below.
I,
J
l Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc.
t_1
