PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES Applicable site assessment permits will be obtained from the SJCEHD and encroachment permits will be obtained through the City of Stockton . In addition , a health and safety plan will be updated in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for I I Occupational Safety and Health Administration , U . CONE PENETRATION TEST Utilizing a 25-ton truck-mounted CPT drill rig equipped with 2-inch diameter hollow-stem rods , AGE proposes to advance a total of four CPT soil borings (sounding borings) and four grab groundwater sample borings to define the lateral extent of groundwater contamination in the previously identified intermediate water-bearing zone, located at approximately 75 to 80 feet bsg . Based on known hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater detected in well MW-5 and to define the lateral extent of the intermediate hydrocarbon plume , AGE proposes: - ' Advancement of one CPT soil boring to a depth of approximately 80 feet bsg , to -� the northeast of the site near boring B-7 . One grab groundwater sample will be collected at approximately 75 to 80 feet bsg immediately adjacent to the soil sounding boring ; • Advancement of one CPT soil boring to a depth of approximately 80 feet bsg , to the northeast of the site and 130 feet to the north of the intersection of Fifth and Hunter Streets ; one grab groundwater sample will be collected to approximately � ) 75 to 80 feet bsg immediately adjacent to the soil sounding boring ; • Advancement of one CPT soil boring to a depth of approximately 80 feet bsg , to the east of the site and 110 feet to the east of the intersection of EI Dorado and Fifth Streets ; one grab groundwater sample will be collected to approximately 75 to 80 feet bsg immediately adjacent to the soil sounding boring ; and I Advancement of one CPT soil boring to a depth of approximately 80 feet bsg , to the east of the site and 170 feet to the east of the intersection of EI Dorado and Fifth Streets (corner of Fifth and Hunter Streets) ; one grab groundwater sample will be collected to approximately 75 to 80 feet bsg immediately adjacent to the soil sounding boring . � i 11II Advanced GeoEnvironmentnl Inc.
