Install a soil vapor extraction (SVE) system in conjunction with in-situ air sparging <br /> (IAS) system to begin interim remediation activities at the above referenced site. <br /> 2. Install five IAS well under proper permit. <br /> 3. Operate and maintain the SVE/IAS remediation system. <br /> 4. The VES will be connected through a manifold box to the vapor recovery wells should <br /> be able to operate between 175 and cubic feet per minute (cfm). <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. Obtain all necessary permits from appropriate agencies before initiation of the <br /> remediation system. <br /> 2. Submit all equipment specifications and vapor sampling points of the remediation <br /> system to EHD. <br /> 3. Begin implementation of the proposed work by September 30,2006. <br /> REASONS FOR DISAPPROVAL OF THE WORKPLAN (H&S <br /> 25296.10,subd.(c)(3).): <br /> Collection of soil samples after 12 months of operation is not approved at this time.
