Install 3 soil borings using cone penetration technology (CPT-1 to CPT-3) to 100 feet below <br /> surface grade (bsg)in order to define the down gradient(northeast) extent of the <br /> groundwater contamination plume. <br /> 2. Collect groundwater samples and up to 3 soil samples for laboratory analyses. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. EHD agrees with GTI's recommendation to limit the advance of the three proposed CPTs <br /> to 100 feet bsg. Although no groundwater samples have been obtained from the deepest <br /> screened chambers (94 to 97 feet bsg) of the three off-site multi-chambered wells (CMT) <br /> MW-307,308,and 309, continuous analytical results of non-detect/very low contaminant <br /> concentrations in the on-site and the deepest screened well MW-201 (146 to 150.5 feet bsg) <br /> indicated the vertical extent of the dissolved plume appears to be defined at this time. <br /> 2.
