PCBs/Dioxins/Furans; however,the non-petroleum constituents have raised a red flag(chlorinated
solvents) as they may be present in the soil beneath the waste oil tank. I checked GeoTracker and there
are no Site Cleanup cases nearby. I also check the site's Maximum Concentration Report which showed
PCE and TCE were present in groundwater in 2008.
Is there a dry cleaners or other source of the chlorinated solvents nearby?
Thanks.
Jim Barton
James L. There had been a waste oil
tank at the site and Ground Zero has submitted at report of findings titled MW-1 Monitoring Results, dated
20 February 2014, reporting the results from analyzing the groundwater sample for VOCs, SVOCs, oil
and grease, metals, PCBs and dioxins and furans. If Jim has reviewed the analytical data and is okay
with the results, then I would like to submit the Closure Summary Report to the Regional Board.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
4/7/2014
