The tank in question was discovered as a direct result of action taken related to
groundwater monitoring activities which were directed by the LOP (San Joaquin County
PHS/EHD).
2. This gasoline tank was situated on the same property and operated by the same company as
was the case with the previously known tanks.
3. The LOP is already viewing this newly discovered tank as a part of the same site, and it is
part of the same County file. Moreover, the CVRWQCB is granted the LOP the authority
to exercise oversight on the tank characterization and remediation as a part of the original
LUST site investigation.
If you have questions or need additional information, please call me at (209) 569-0293. The LOP
officer in this case is Harlin Knoll at (209)'468-3442.
Respectfully Submitted,
Phase ne E onmental Inc,
Stephen M.
