Selected.soil samples will be-collected during drilling,.field screened, and analyzed to determine soil <br /> contaminant concentration fora base line. <br /> 4. Selected soil samples will be.analyzed for:THP-gas, and•BTEX. No gasoline additives or oxygenates <br /> has been evidenced during prior site assessment or on-site remedial activities to date. <br /> .5. The new wells will be plumbed to the existing remediation equipment and used immediately upon <br /> connection. <br /> 6. Existing MW7, located off-site and up-gradient of the contaminated source area, has a long history of <br /> non-detect and no longer service any valuable purpose for this project. MW7 will be destroyed by <br /> pressure grouting. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. This additional work will help in contaminant mass removal and conforms to State Water Resource <br /> Control Board 5 Year Review Letter recommendations dated 14:March 2008. <br /> 2. The'MW sampling frequency reduction, proposed Lander separate cover, has-been reviewed and <br /> -approved byEHD. <br /> 3.
