M ' <br /> M'gMW--- ' ' ��` <br /> MAAWA PRO CORPORA77oN <br /> ' 4004 Sow*Eldorado Stmer,Shw*on, California <br /> 1.0 PROTECT jDENMCA7y0N <br /> WHF Environmental Consultants, Inc. was contacted by Manna Pro Corporation in <br /> response to soil contamination discovered during the removal of underground storage <br /> tanks at 4004 Eldorado Street in Stockton, California. The Wowing is a plan for the <br /> excavation and remediation of the contaminated soil. <br /> 2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION AND IHS71f1RY <br /> The facility is located at 4004 Eldorado in Stockton, Cal fon;ia(Figure 1 &2). The <br /> w. property is fronted on Hwy 50 and backed by the Southern paoific main line. The <br /> work area is in the northwest corner of the property approximately 80 feet from the <br /> west property line. <br /> SEMCO,a licensed underground storage tank removal company, renoved(5) five fuel <br /> tanks on May 30, 1990(Appendix A). At that time, soil samples were taken <br /> (Appendix B). <br /> . 3.0 CONTAAMIANT DISTMU77ON <br /> Contamination was discovered under the south end of tank#2, the south end cnf tank <br /> #3, the north and south ends of tank#4, and the west end of tank#5 (Figure 3). The <br /> sou sampled under tank#I was non-detect. <br /> Additirnal soil was excavated to 17 feet beneath the east end of tank#5, and a soil <br /> sample taken (Lab I.D. L1517010). The lab results at 17 feet were non-detect. <br /> 4.0 PROPOSED RE-EXCAVATION <br /> The excavation wi11 consist of the removal of approximately 2,100 cubic yards(Figures <br /> - :--- -- -- --- ;4;-&-5).---Surface-discoloration was-fdand-east of-the fuel island, and this area will <br /> �. be incorporated into the excavation. The area of excavation was positioned according <br /> to the sample locations(Figure 4) and will be accomplished by conventional methods to <br />
