Vapor-extraction wells can be <br /> installed in borings drilled through the conductor casing if remediation of soil beneath the <br /> tanks is warranted. <br /> The second cavity will not be excavated to remediate soil excavated from the existing tank. <br /> If gasoline hydrocarbons are detected in the soil removed from under the existing tanks, the <br /> soil will be stockpiled onsite and remediated using an internal combustion engine. Piping <br /> will be installed in the soil during stockpiling.
