They will be allowed to operate pending passing secondary
containment test results. Also, I wanted to speak with you about a condition I would like you to list on the SR inspection
form when you tell them they are allowed to operate.
I would like it to say something like:
This facility is allowed to operate conditionally based on the requirement that a complete UST piping replacement
application is submitted to the EHD within 30 days from today and work begins on the piping replacement within 30
days of EHD's approval of the UST piping replacement application.
Thanks,
Kasey
From: Elena K. They scheduled the lake test (UDCs and the 87 STP) and the secondary containment testing for
the replaced 87 flexible piping for this coming Monday. I just want to confirm that this facility will be allowed to receive
and sell fuel while their re -pipe permit is being reviewed, provided these Monday tests have passing results.
Elena
From: Kasey Foley [EH]
Sent: Thursday, May 5, 2016 1:43 PM
To: Boyd, Stephen <Stephen.Boyd @7-11.com>
Cc: Davila, Georgina <Georgina.Davila @7-11.com>; Elena K. Yes, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) agrees to allow you to
reschedule the soil sampling beneath the piping until after the piping change out with fiberglass pipe has occurred.
The agreed upon schedule is as follows:
1. Submit an application to the EHD to replace the flexible piping with fiberglass piping within 30 days from today.
2. Begin piping removal, sampling, and replacement project within 30 days of the EHD's approval of the piping
replacement application.
