XI NFELDER
Brlghtpeopk.flgM1tSolutlwx
3.1.3 Chemical Analysis of Groundwater Samples
' Each of the groundwater samples collected for quantitative analysis was submitted
' under chain-of-custody control to the following laboratories:
' ♦ Test America of Morgan Hill, California.
♦ FGL Environmental of Stockton, California
' Test America and FGL Laboratories are certified by the State of California Department
of Health Services (DHS) for the requested analyses. Samples were analyzed on a
regular laboratory turnaround schedule, requiring approximately 10 to 12 working days
' for receipt of analytical data.
The water samples were analyzed for the following:
pH by Standard Method (SM) 4500-H+B
• Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) by SM 2540C
• Nitrate as Nitrogen by EPA Method 300.0
Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN) by SM4500-NH3-C
' . Ammonia as Nitrogen by SM4500-NH3-C
• Total and Fecal Coliform Organisms by SM 9221 B
' For additional information regarding the chemical analysis, please refer to the
' laboratory data sheets in Appendix C. Charts of TDS and Nitrate as N are presented in
Charts 1 through 4 for both application areas.
101486.5/ST012R0385 Page 8 of 14 April 30, 2012
Copyright 2012 Kleinfelder
