h" KLEINFELDER <br /> be submitted under chain-of-custody control to a laboratory certified by the State of California <br /> Department of Health Services (DHS) for the requested analyses. <br /> 3.5 LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br /> After collection, the soil samples from the borings will be labeled, logged on a chain-of-custody, <br /> and immediately stored in an iced cooler. The six (6) soil samples will be submitted to a State <br /> certified laboratory and analyzed for the following analyses: <br /> • pH by EPA Method 150.1 <br /> • Ammonia as Nitrogen by EPA Method 350.3 <br /> • Nitrate as Nitrogen by EPA Method 300.0 <br /> • Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen by EPA Method 351.2 <br /> • Total Coliform Bacteria by Standard Method 9221 <br /> • Fecal Coliform by Standard Method 9221 <br /> The soil samples previously collected during well installation will be submitted separately from <br /> the groundwater samples collected during the third quarter monitoring event. The samples will <br /> be analyzed on a normal laboratory schedule requiring approximately two weeks (ten working <br /> days) for completion. <br /> The groundwater samples collected during the subsequent quarterly groundwater monitoring <br /> event will be analyzed in accordance with the current list of analysis included in the current <br /> groundwater monitoring protocols. The analysis includes the following: <br /> • pH by EPA Method 150.1 <br /> • Total Dissolved Solids by EPA Method 160.1 <br /> • Ammonia as Nitrogen by EPA Method 350.3 <br /> • Nitrate as Nitrogen by EPA Method 300.0 <br /> • Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen by EPA Method 351.2 <br /> • Total Fixed Solids by Standard Method 2500 <br /> • Total Coliform Bacteria By Standard Method 9221 <br /> • Fecal Coliform by Standard Method 9221 <br /> The samples will be analyzed on a normal laboratory schedule requiring approximately two <br /> weeks (ten working days) for completion. <br /> 20-4587-02.WP2/2002R489 Page 7 of 12 <br /> Copyright 2002,Kleinfelder,Inc.
