h" KLEINFELDER be submitted under chain-of-custody control to a laboratory certified by the State of California Department of Health Services (DHS) for the requested analyses. 3.5 LABORATORY ANALYSIS After collection, the soil samples from the borings will be labeled, logged on a chain-of-custody, and immediately stored in an iced cooler. The six (6) soil samples will be submitted to a State certified laboratory and analyzed for the following analyses: • pH by EPA Method 150.1 • Ammonia as Nitrogen by EPA Method 350.3 • Nitrate as Nitrogen by EPA Method 300.0 • Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen by EPA Method 351.2 • Total Coliform Bacteria by Standard Method 9221 • Fecal Coliform by Standard Method 9221 The soil samples previously collected during well installation will be submitted separately from the groundwater samples collected during the third quarter monitoring event. The samples will be analyzed on a normal laboratory schedule requiring approximately two weeks (ten working days) for completion. The groundwater samples collected during the subsequent quarterly groundwater monitoring event will be analyzed in accordance with the current list of analysis included in the current groundwater monitoring protocols. The analysis includes the following: • pH by EPA Method 150.1 • Total Dissolved Solids by EPA Method 160.1 • Ammonia as Nitrogen by EPA Method 350.3 • Nitrate as Nitrogen by EPA Method 300.0 • Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen by EPA Method 351.2 • Total Fixed Solids by Standard Method 2500 • Total Coliform Bacteria By Standard Method 9221 • Fecal Coliform by Standard Method 9221 The samples will be analyzed on a normal laboratory schedule requiring approximately two weeks (ten working days) for completion. 20-4587-02.WP2/2002R489 Page 7 of 12 Copyright 2002,Kleinfelder,Inc.
