DRAFT
A graphical representation of soil sampling locations;
Description and documentation of QA/QC procedures employed for field and
laboratory work; and
Kleinfelder's conclusions and recommendations based on the data acquired.
All information gathered during the study by Kleinfelder is considered confidential and
will be released only upon written authorization from the client or as required by law.
California law requires a person to inform the state if a situation is encountered that can
be considered an immediate endangerment to the public's health or welfare and/or to
the environment. Therefore, the client shall be contractually bound to make said
disclosures in lieu of Kleinfelder, its owners, principals, employees or subcontractors.
PROJECT SCHEDULE
The proposed scope of work would be performed in accordance with the following
approximate schedule.
Approximate Task
Timeline
Week 0-2 Formal workplan authorization provided by the county health department, PG&E
and Chevron for a licable portions of the workplan.
Week 2-4 Permittin
Week 4-9 Field Work
Week 9- 11 Chemical Analysis'
Week 15 Re ort Pre arntion
Week 15 Report submitted to the Client
Kleinfelder has no control over the time required by a regulatory agency, PG&E or Chevron Pipeline
Company to review and approve a work plan or over the laboratory turn around time.
2 The excavation, transportation and disposal will be done by a subcontractor. Kleinfelder does not
have control over scheduling or the progress of their field activities.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSUMPTIONS
This workplan is based on the following assumptions and responsibilities:
➢ This workplan will be adequate to obtain authorization from EHD. If an addendum
or an additional work plan is necessary, additional charges for work plan preparation
will be incurred.
➢ Adequate workspace and access will be provided. Kleinfelder will attempt to collect
samples at the proposed locations. If the volume of contamination exceeds the
estimated amount additional confirmation sampling and analyses may be required
for either confirmation sampling and or for additional profiling for disposal purposes.
➢ This workplan is based on the presumption that Pegasus MH Ventures I, along with
oversight from Chevron and PG&E will clearly mark private subsurface structures
44843.T04/ST05R997/DH:ly Page 11 of 14
©2005 Kleinfelder, Inc.
