1
' 16 December 2002
AGE-NC Project No 97-0300
' During the four quarterly ground water monitoring events, low concentrations of TPH-d-impacted
ground water have only been encountered on two occasions, in samples collected from well MW-1,
however, the laboratory indicated that the TPH-d sample chromatograms did not have typical diesel
' characteristics In addition,MTBE was detected on one occasion at a concentration of 2 gg/l,during
the initial groundwater monitoring event at MW-1 No other petroleum constituents of concern were
detected from the ground water monitoring events Analytical results of ground water samples are
' summarized in Tables 4 and 5
' 7.0. WATER WELL RECEPTOR SURVEY
Drinking water near the site is currently supplied by the City of Stockton municipal well system The
' municipal wells in the site area are maintained by California Water Service Company(Cal-Water)
Based on a map titled Water System ofStockton, published in 1996 by Cal-Water,Station No 77 was
located approximately 300 feet south of the site on the east side of West Lane and a future municipal
' water well site was identified on the map approximately 1,000 feet southeast of the site on the west
side of El Pmal Drive The map did not indicate any other municipal wells maintained by the City
' of Stockton or Cal Water located within 2,000 feet of the site
A search of well drillers reports at the California Department of Water Resources for water wells
' located one irrigation water well located at 3731 West Lane and twelve (12) ground water
monitoring wells located at 1624 Alpine Avenue
' A representative of AGE performed a reconnaissance of visually observable potential sensitive
receptors located within a 2,000-foot radius of the above referenced site During the reconnaissance,
Station No 77 was located approximately 300 feet south of the site on the east side of West Lane
' and Station No 3 was located approximately 2,000 feet southeast of the site on the west side of El
Pinal Drive Domestic water wells were located at 1977 Alpine Avenue, 1915 Alpine Avenue and
1624 Alpine Avenue Ten ground water monitoring wells were located at 1624 Alpine Avenue No
' other visible potential receptors were noted during the reconnaissance
During the reconnaissance,a door-to-door survey was conducted from residential properties to locate
domestic water wells and potential receptors,no potential receptors were located during the door-to-
door survey A summary of water wells located from the receptor survey are included in Table 6 and
depicted on Figure 10
Advanced GeoEnvi ron mental,Inc
