Prepare all surfaces to be bonded prior to completing installation steps below. <br />failure to follow each step will void warranty & may result in premature failure of penetration fitting. <br />MSZ SLM-xx <br />Page 1 This Kit applies for repairing- Blueline Medium Fittincs <br />General Instructions for: CLEANING: Spray all surfaces to be bonded with DBC Cleaner and allow to air dry or wipe excess with a clean dry <br />cloth. Surfaces must be dry before applying bonder. <br />General Instructions for: BONDING TO POLY SUMPS OR FIBERGLASS SUMPS: Clean, sand and rough up sump surfaces. Clean fitting and <br />apply DBB V between Bonding Ring & sump wall. On Poly Sumps if sump wall is un -even use DRP in place of DBB V. <br />STEP 1: Remove Old Boot <br />• Remove clamps <br />Cut away old boot <br />• Clean & sand fitting <br />If everything fits continue with <br />the install. If there is a problem <br />with the fit & function of these <br />parts, either adjust to make fit if <br />possible, or tali the factory(536 <br />, 534-396ii), for additional help <br />STEP 4: Bond Sleeve ,Cuff Ring & Insert <br />• Apply Zip Tite to split cuff ring. Use 1 of <br />the damps to hold in place while curing. <br />• Apply Zip-Tite to the split insertand use 1 <br />of the clamps to hold in place while <br />curing. <br />• Apply Zip Tite to the split sleeve and use 2 <br />clamps to hold in place while curing. <br />• Leave these clamps in place for approx 30 <br />minutes for curing before proceeding to <br />the next step <br />STEP 2: Clean all Repair Components <br />• Clean all repair components with DBC <br />prior to installation <br />Split Cleaner Split <br />Cuff Sleeve <br />Ring <br />nuc.. ny..., .• <br />Eccentric Insert Split Multi -Sync <br />Insert Reducer <br />STEP 5: Install The Sleeve, Cuff Ring & Insert <br />• Apply DBB V to the outer surface of the insert <br />and fully seat Inside of cuff <br />• Apply DBB V to the inner surface of the cuff <br />ring and slide all the way onto the cuff <br />• Position the sleeve with the fill port at the top <br />• once you have the sleeve lined up correctly, <br />1. Apply a bead of Zip tite all around the <br />outer surface of the cuff ring <br />2. Slide sleeve over cuff ring & snap in place <br />(fill port at top) <br />3. Set the Clamp the around the sleeve & <br />over the cuff ring and tighten "snugly". <br />l/kLfY':'Yl <br />;TEP 3: Place & Dry Fit Cuff Ring Sleeve & Insert <br />Wrack the split cuff ring over the old fitting <br />Wrack the split insert over the pipe <br />Wrack the split sleeve over the pipe & up to the <br />bonding ring with the fill port up <br />STEP 6: Install & Bond Eccentric Insert & Multi -Sync <br />Reducer Back Together <br />• Wrack Eccentric Insert around the pipe <br />• Wrack Multi -Sync Reducer around the pipe <br />• Apply Zip Tite to split area on Eccentric Insert, press. <br />ends together & clamp <br />• Apply Zip Tite to split area on Multi -Sync Reducer, <br />press ends together & clamp <br />
