Box 1.3648 Sacramento, California 95853-4648 (916) 978-2500 , (FAX, 916) 978 -2428 INTRODUCTION Results of Emissions Testing of the Remox Thermal Oxidation unit (#89--130ABC) and replacing the Thermal Oxidation unit with Carbon Adsorbtion units (ATC# N-1090-3-1) , at former Regal Station 603, now Exxon, at 6425 Pacific Avenue at the intersection of Douglas Road, in San Joaquin County, Stockton, California, January 31, thru March 6 , 1996 . RESULTS See Table 1 for weekly venting of MW8 summay, Table 2 for influent/effluent monitoring of the thermal oxidation system/and presently the carbon adsorbtion units and Table 3 for the results of thermal oxidation operations CONCLUSIONS The VOC emissions during the termination of the REMOX operations for the period from January 31, to March 6 , 1996 have not exceeded the 52 lb/day limit No DCE, TCE or PCE has been detected in the samples On February 28, 1996 the TO unit was burning 2 7 cfm of natural gas or 3888 which is below the permit limit of 17, 280 cfd and destroying 3 93 pounds per day of hydrocarbon. On start up of the carbon units 0 81 pounds per day of TPHg was being adsorb at a flow rate of 71 cubic feet per minute (cfm) , see WEGE laboratory report and Table 2 A effluent sample of the #2 carbon was Chain of Custody (CofC) delivered to a Department Of Hcalth Services certified labolacory Laboratory results show all analytes tested to be below laboratory detection limits . As of March 6 , 1996, a total of 74849 pounds of gasoline have been destroyed during operation of the TO vapor recovery system SITE STATUS, CHRONOLOGY See prior reports for period from 12/12/95 to 1/31/96 1 Regal 603 AIR RPT. 3/08/96
