19. / Piping (cross-sectional (, dgram, including connections to tank and dis, .sers). <br />(A) Vent and tank riser primary containment system equipped with overfill prevention system that: <br />Restricts delivery of flow to tank [Section 2635 (b) (2) (B) or (C)], or <br />Provide positive shut off of flow to the tank at no more than 95 % (Section 2635 (b)(2)(C)1, or <br />(B) Vapor recovery piping designed so it cannot contain liquid phase product, or <br />(C) Suction piping (below grade piping operates at less than atmospheric pressure) [Section 2636 (a) (3)] <br />Sloped so contents of the pipe will drain back into the storage tank if the suction is <br />released. <br />No valves or pumps installed below grade. <br />Inspection method provided to demonstrate compliance with section 2636 (a) (3). <br />(D) Corrodible underground piping protected against corrosion (Section 2636 (b)). <br />(E) —Z Underground primary piping will meet all of the following requirements <br />_L,/ Primary piping in contact with hazardous substance under normal ope�tion conditions shall be: <br />installed inside a secondary containment system in the form of: ✓secondary pipe Vault or <br />lined trench to be sloped to a collection sump at the low point of the piping. <br />Primary piping and secondary containment systems will be installed in accordance with industry <br />code of practice and voluntary consensus standards.. <br />Lined trench used as secondary containment <br />Material compatible with the substance stored. <br />Covered and capable of supporting any expected vehicular traffic. <br />(F) Underground piping with secondary containment will be equipped and monitored as follows: <br />Secondary containment will be equipped with a continuous monitoring system connected to an audible <br />and visual alarm system. <br />_ Automatic line leak detectors will be installed on pressurized piping <br />Manufacturer: Model: <br />Annual monitoring will be conducted on the pressurized piping with secondary containment. <br />_ Annual line tightness test will not be required if the continuous monitor shuts down the pump and <br />activates the alarm system when a release is detected and when the continuous monitoring system <br />fails or is disconnected. <br />20. ��'�a State Water Resources Control Board "Facility (A)" and "Tank Permit (B)" application forms submitted. <br />21. Plan review and operating permit fees paid. <br />22. What is the approximate depth to ground water: <br />(include source of information - borehole logs, monitoring well data, water <br />studies, etc.) <br />23. Z— Total number of tanks on site after installation: <br />24. ✓ County/City Fire District and Building Department notified. <br />25. In the event contamination is observed, confirmed or suspected as a result of a leaking UST system it is your <br />responsibility (in accordance with (CCR) Title 23, Division 3, Chapter 16, Article 11, Corrective Action <br />Requirements] as an owner or operator to submit a workplan to PHS-EHD Site Mitigation Unit prior to initiating any <br />assessment or remediation activities.
