ELEVENTH STREET; TRACY <br /> BILL STEWART PROPERTY <br /> BEN CURRAN, REAL ESTATE AGENT <br /> The following is a chronological accounting of our involvement with the <br /> above referenced site: <br /> 1-9-88 Diesel tank failed precision test <br /> 1-25-88 Proposal submitted for tank lining for failed <br /> diesel tank and two gasoline tanks. <br /> 1-29-88 Waste oil tank removed. Soil sampling <br /> performed around diesel tank and gasoline <br /> tank as required prior to tank lining <br /> activities. Testing of soil is required to <br /> show that not contamination has occurred. <br /> Evidence of hydrocarbon contamination in soil <br /> was observed by field inspectors. <br /> 2-22-88 Lab results confirm soil contamination in <br /> area around gasoline and diesel tanks. <br /> 4-10-88 Work plan for site investigation received. <br /> 5-10-88 Response to Bill Stewart recommending ground <br /> water monitoring be included in preliminary <br /> field work. <br /> 7-14-88 Received first investigative report. <br /> Scheduled for review within 60 days. <br /> Requested Regional Board review and comments. <br /> 7-29-88 Met with Ben Curran, Bill Stewart, Al Costa, <br /> Ray Kablanow II . Discussed the need for <br /> investigation to determine the of extent of <br /> contamination in conjunction with the <br /> required monitoring of the existing <br /> underground tanks. Facility was not open; <br /> tanks were storing petroleum product without <br /> required daily monitoring. (Attachment #1 ) <br />
