Eleventh St. SITE CODE- 1401
Tracy, California
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) has received your
letter dated September 30, 1992 and has the following comments.
The request in your letter for a reduction in the sampling frequency from quarterly to semiannually is
acceptable at this time..
Although the sampling frequency has been changed to semiannually, quarterly correspondence between
Desert Petroleum and this agency is still warranted. At a minimum the letter reports should include the
status of the site for the current quarter and should discuss any possible work to be completed in the
upcoming quarter. If there is no planned activity for the reporting quarter or the following quarter, the
letter should state so and still be submitted to PHS/EHD as documentation that the site is still active and
has not been abandoned.
The status update letters are needed to satisfy the requirements of Chapter 16 of the Underground Tank
Regulations (California Code of Regulations, Title 23) and to maintain compliance with this agency.
If you have any questions, please contact Linda Turkatte, REHS, of my staff at (209) 468-0339.
Jogi Manna, M , M.P.H.
Health Offic
r
urie A.
