*Mop" woe <br /> LEGAL DESCRIPTION: <br /> The property consists of approximately .75 acres located in the NW/NE of Section 27, <br /> T.2.S, R.SE., M.D.B.& M., San Joaquin County, California. The assessor's parcel <br /> number is 250-160-02. <br /> REGIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SETTING: <br /> The property is located just east of the city of Tracy, 2 miles south of Highway 205, <br /> which connects Interstate 5 3.5t miles to the east with Highway 580 a short distance <br /> to the west. Manteca is 10 miles northeast, and the city of Stockton is about 15 miles <br /> to the north/northeast. The area is mostly devoted to agriculture; there is a rental <br /> house on the northeast side of the property, and another one just to the west. <br /> Numerous small businesses and industrial sites are located along Eleventh street, <br /> also known as Business 205. Refer to PLATE I for details. <br /> GEOLOGIC & GEOMORPHIC PROVINCE: <br /> The site is located at the southwestern edge of the Sacramento Valley, which is the <br /> northern portion of the Great Valley of California. The Diablo range begins a few <br /> miles to the west; it separates the Sacramento Valley from the coastal foothills and <br /> plains to the west. The topography is one of very low relief; surface drainage is to the <br /> north at about 20'/mile. The San Joaquin river is about 6 miles to the east, and <br /> numerous sloughs and canals associated with the Sacramento, San Joaquin Delta <br /> System are located 2 - 3 miles to the north. PLATE II is a portion of a USGS <br /> quadrangle sheet which shows pertinent features in the area. The primary <br /> agricultural crops grown in the area are alfalfa, beans, tomatoes, and grains. Shallow <br /> aquifers in this area contain high concentrations of boron and salts, and are <br /> unsuitable for domestic use. <br /> LOCATION OF WELLS IN THE AREA: <br /> There is a domestic well located in the southeast corner of the property which is used <br /> by the two businesses and the rental house. The owners do not have details on it's <br /> construction. There is another domestic well located at the rear of the property <br /> adjacent to the west; we do not have any details concerning casing size or screen <br /> depths. Field reconnaissance of the area identified the wells shown on EXHIBIT E. <br /> PRIOR USE OF UST'S: <br /> The gasoline & diesel tank were used to fuel company vehicles. Their installation <br /> date is not known, and there are no records concerning gallonage used during the <br /> 2 <br />
