Former Discovery Chevrolet
August 12, 1994
Development and sampling of the groundwater monitoring well will be
performed by Gettler-Ryan Inc. of Dublin, California. This work will be
performed under the direction of GSI.
Wellhead Survey: Each well will be surveyed to MSL by a California
Licensed Land Surveyor.
/---Drill Cuttings and Waste Water: Drill cuttings will be place on and
1 covered with plastic and stored at the site pending disposal. Drill
cuttings from the well boring adjacent to the waste oil UST will be
segregated from drill cuttings of other borings to facilitate disposal.
}
Waste water from the decontamination procedures, well development,
and well sampling will stored in drums at the site.
TASK 3. Soil and groundwater samples will be submitted to a California-certified
Hazardous Material Testing Laboratory to be analyzed as follows:
Soil Samples: Selected soil samples from the well borings adjacent to
the former gasoline UST excavation will be analyzed for TPH-Gasoline by
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 8015 (Modified), for the
gasoline constituents Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylenes
(BTEX) by EPA Method 8020, and for lead by the California Waste
Extraction Test (WET) methodology.
Soil samples collected from the well boring adjacent to the former waste
oil UST excavation will be analyzed for TPH-Gasoline and TPH-Diesel by
EPA Method 8015 (Modified), BTEX by EPA Method 8020, Total Oil and
Grease (TOG) by Standard Method 5520 E&F, and for lead and
chromium by the WET methodology.
Groundwater samples: Groundwater samples from the wells adjacent to
the gasoline UST excavation will be analyzed for TPH-Gasoline by EPA
Method 8015 (Modified) and for BTEX by EPA Method 602.
Groundwater samples collected from the well adjacent to the former
waste oil UST will be analyzed for TPH-Gasoline and TPH-Diesel by EPA
Method 8015 (Modified), BTEX by EPA Method 602, and TOG by
Standard Method 5520 E&F.
Report No. 6146.701-1
4
GeoStrategies Inc.
