Former Discovery Chevrolet <br /> August 12, 1994 <br /> Development and sampling of the groundwater monitoring well will be <br /> performed by Gettler-Ryan Inc. of Dublin, California. This work will be <br /> performed under the direction of GSI. <br /> Wellhead Survey: Each well will be surveyed to MSL by a California <br /> Licensed Land Surveyor. <br /> /---Drill Cuttings and Waste Water: Drill cuttings will be place on and <br /> 1 covered with plastic and stored at the site pending disposal. Drill <br /> cuttings from the well boring adjacent to the waste oil UST will be <br /> segregated from drill cuttings of other borings to facilitate disposal. <br /> } <br /> Waste water from the decontamination procedures, well development, <br /> and well sampling will stored in drums at the site. <br /> TASK 3. Soil and groundwater samples will be submitted to a California-certified <br /> Hazardous Material Testing Laboratory to be analyzed as follows: <br /> Soil Samples: Selected soil samples from the well borings adjacent to <br /> the former gasoline UST excavation will be analyzed for TPH-Gasoline by <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 8015 (Modified), for the <br /> gasoline constituents Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylenes <br /> (BTEX) by EPA Method 8020, and for lead by the California Waste <br /> Extraction Test (WET) methodology. <br /> Soil samples collected from the well boring adjacent to the former waste <br /> oil UST excavation will be analyzed for TPH-Gasoline and TPH-Diesel by <br /> EPA Method 8015 (Modified), BTEX by EPA Method 8020, Total Oil and <br /> Grease (TOG) by Standard Method 5520 E&F, and for lead and <br /> chromium by the WET methodology. <br /> Groundwater samples: Groundwater samples from the wells adjacent to <br /> the gasoline UST excavation will be analyzed for TPH-Gasoline by EPA <br /> Method 8015 (Modified) and for BTEX by EPA Method 602. <br /> Groundwater samples collected from the well adjacent to the former <br /> waste oil UST will be analyzed for TPH-Gasoline and TPH-Diesel by EPA <br /> Method 8015 (Modified), BTEX by EPA Method 602, and TOG by <br /> Standard Method 5520 E&F. <br /> Report No. 6146.701-1 <br /> 4 <br /> GeoStrategies Inc. <br />
