08/10/98 Approximately 450 cubic yards of contaminated soil to 12 feet bsg were <br /> to over-excavated. MW-1 was destroyed in the process. Soil samples from <br /> 08/13/98 bottom and sidewalls of excavation and stockpile were collected for <br /> i. <br /> analyses. <br /> 08/13/98 Domestic well was destroyed by pressure grout. <br /> 08/17/98 Contaminated soil was removed from site and disposed to Forward <br /> Landfill. <br /> 08/17/98 Excavation was backfilled with Class 2 material equivalent to Teichert <br /> A/B Class 2. Compaction test was conducted. <br /> 08/27/98 Groundwater collected in the Baker Tank was disposed into sewer <br /> under permit from City of Tracy. <br /> 09/11/98 Mailed comment letter that closure will not be considered until the <br /> results of at least two post-remediation quarterly sampling events have <br /> been received by this office. <br /> i <br /> 12/14/98 Received Fourth Quarter 1998 Status Report dated December 8, 1998 <br /> prepared by Gettler-Ryan, Inc., and letters requesting for site closure <br /> dated December 9, 1998 and December 11, 1998 from Horizon and <br /> responsible party, respectively. <br /> 12/21/98 Reviewed file.
