Other requirements may <br /> also apply. <br /> A. A soil suitability study with a nitrate loading evaluation, incorporating all proposed domestic <br /> wastewater usage, shall be submitted to the EHD, to show that the area is suitable for onsite <br /> Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) usage. Wastewater generated from laboratory activities <br /> may not be suitable for discharge to an OWTS. The study should include appropriate disposal <br /> methods, based on the specific characteristics of wastewater,for the wastewater to be generated <br /> for the project. The study must be approved by the EHD prior to issuance of building permit(s). <br /> (San Joaquin County Development Title,Section 9-1105.2(d)).The fee will be based on the current <br /> schedule at the time of payment. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the San Joaquin County Local Agency Management <br /> Program and OWTS Standards prior to the issuance of building permits. Percolation testing <br /> sufficient to determine the suitability of the site for OWTS usage, conducted in accordance with <br /> EHD guidance and the E.P.A. Design Manual-Onsite Wastewater and Disposal Systems, is required <br /> to be conducted under a permit from the EHD. The fee will be based on the current fee schedule <br /> at the time of permit issuance. <br /> B. Submit to the EHD revised site plans showing the location and configuration of any existing and <br /> proposed sewage disposal systems, along with the area required to be reserved for future sewage <br /> disposal repair/replacement(area for 100%sewage disposal replacement).The plans shall include <br /> the design calculations, including the maximum number of persons the sewage disposal system is <br /> proposed to serve. In addition, show on revised plans that the disposal field area will be secured <br /> to prevent any use or activities that would damage the dispersal field including, but not limited to, <br /> driving over, parking on, or storing items in this area.This disposal field area must be used for that <br /> specific purpose only, and shall not contain any underground utility lines.
