EARTH RESOURCES <br /> Impact: Project construction could result in increased soil erosion. <br /> Findings: <br /> i. Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project which avoid or <br /> substantially lessen the significant environmental effect identified in the Final EIR. <br /> Mitigation Measures <br /> IS-1. Erosion and Sediment Control Plan. During the final project design phase, an erosion and <br /> sedimentation control plan shall be prepared. The plan shall contain engineering design and <br /> construction measures to avoid or minimize the potential for soil erosion and subsequent <br /> sedimentation of streams. <br /> Impact: The road structure could be affected by soil subsidence. <br /> Findings: <br /> 1. Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project which avoid or <br /> substantially lessen the significant environmental effect identified in the Final EIR. <br /> Mitigation Measures <br /> IS-2. Geotechnical Study. A geotechnical report shall be prepared during the final project design <br /> phase. The report shall specify conditions to ensure that the road improvements will withstand <br /> the effects of anticipated regional subsidence. The City of Stockton and San Joaquin County <br /> shall be responsible for ensuring the specified measures are implemented during project <br /> construction. <br /> WATER RESOURCES <br /> Impact: The proposed roadway could potentially be subject to flooding. <br /> 1:. .Changes or;alterations have been:required in, or Incorporated Into.'the,project which avoid or <br /> SL lessen'the significant environmental effect Identif'red in'thp Final EIR d} <br /> Mitigation'Measures :1 <br /> IS-3.
