The proposed use is consistent with the goals, policies, standards, and maps of the General Plan, <br /> Master Plan,Specific Plan, and any other applicable plan adopted by the County. <br /> • This finding can be made because the proposed Austin Road Landfill Expansion is <br /> consistent with all relevant General Plan Policies (see pp. 46 through 62 in the Final <br /> Supplemental EIR for an analysis). The Conditions of Approval ensure that the facility will. <br /> operate and interact with the surrounding community in a compatible manner, consistent <br /> with the policies and implementation measures contained in the General Plan. <br /> 2. Adequate utilities, roadway improvements, sanitation, water supply, drainage, and other necessary <br /> facilities have been provided, and the proposed improvements are property related to existing and <br /> proposed roadways. <br /> • On-site storm water detention ponds will be provided. The Conditions of Approval ensure <br /> that there will be adequate mitigation measures attached to the project's final approval to <br /> provide traffic mitigation measures as detailed in Section D of the Final Supplemental pp EIR. <br /> 3. The site is physically suitable for the type of development and for the intensity of development. <br /> • This finding can be made because'the plan shows that there is sufficient area to expand <br /> the existing landfill, including site development mitigation.
