BISHOP) (SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT 5) <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that the Planning Commission: <br /> 1. Deny Minor Subdivision No. MS-93-108 due to the Inability to make Findings No. 1 and 2. <br /> FINDINGS: <br /> 1. The proposed subdivision is consistent with the General Plan, any applicable Specific Plan and <br /> Special Purpose Plan, and any other applicable plan adopted by the County. <br /> • This Finding cannot be made because this application is Inconsistent with Agricultural <br /> Objective No. 1: <br /> 'To protect agricultural lands needed for the continuation of commercial <br /> agricultural enterprises, small-scale farming operations, and the preservation <br /> of open space.' <br /> Due to the owner's history of creating homesites and the proposal to create multiple <br /> homesites, this application will fragment agricultural land. <br /> 2. The design or improvement of the proposed subdivision is consistent with the General Plan and <br /> any applicable Specific Plan or Special Purpose Plan. <br /> This Finding cannotbemade because thlsapplication is Inconsistent with Agricultural <br /> Objective No. 1: <br /> 'To protect agricultural lands needed for the continuation of commercial <br /> agricultural enterprises,small-scale farming operations, and the preservation <br /> of open space.' <br />
