SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
r. :? COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
1810 E.HAZELTON AVE.,STOCKTON,CA 95205-6232 D
'• P PHONE:2091468.3120 Fax:209/468-3163
4Foa
November 9, 1993 !
Tom Gotelli
NOV 1 Y1993
O-G Packing ENVIR0fJhv1ENTAL HEALTH
2097 Beyer Lane PERMIT/SERVICES
Stockton, CA 95215
SUBJECT: AMENDED CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL FOR SITE APPROVAL APPLICATION
NO. SA-93-40
Dear Mr. Gotelli:
This letter is to notify you that the Community Development Department has
amended its Conditions of Approval on the above-noted application to delete
the restrictions on the hours of operation for the new cold storage
facility. The decision is based upon my site visit to the facility on
Friday, November 5, 1993 and further review of the operation.
It is my understanding that the hours of operation for the O-G Packing
facility will not change due to this expansion. There will be an increase
of approximately 15 trucks per day for about two weeks during the peak of
pear season. The controlled atmosphere expansion will provide a more
efficient method of storing product on site and the ability to store
product for extended periods of time. Because the new building will be an
accessory use to the existing operation and will not significantly increase
the existing level of impacts associated with the facility, it is not
appropriate to limit the hours of operation.
A copy of the Amended Conditions of Approval is attached to this letter.
Please note that none of the other Conditions of Approval from the approval
letter dated November 3 , 1993 , have been changed by this action. Because
this action involves changing the previously-adopted Conditions of
Approval, a new ten (10) day appeal period is required from the date of
this letter. The appeal period will expire on November 19, 1993 , at
5: 00 pm. If not appealed, the action will be final at that time. Unless
otherwise specified, all of the Conditions of Approval must be complied
with by the new expiration date of May 21, 1995.
jnZely, .
oma. M.
