ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK REPAIR HISTORY
As referenced above, the permits on record at SJCEHD indicate in 1977 and 1982 that
additional leach lines and the system disposing into a leach lines. No repairs have been
conducted since 1982.
5.4. EXISTING SEPTIC TANK USAGE IN THE GENERAL AREA
Neighboring properties are also primarily residential, mixed use and agricultural-zone
land. The adjoining property to the west has a building with well house and septic.
The adjoining property to the south has one single-family house. The property to the south
on Borba Road has three separate, undersized single-family houses and a separate
septic.
5.5. GENERAL AREA SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY
The following is a summary of information based on new system installation permits
currently on file with EHD. The permit history of neighboring properties indicated the
potential of GOOD leaching that could lead to septic system failure. Additional leaching
capacity was required to be installed in some of the properties researched. This may have
been due to smaller septic systems installed prior to current San Joaquin County septic
codes.
ADDRESS: 7044 South Borba Road
LOCATION: 0.25 miles north of subject property
SEPTIC SYSTEM: Permit Dates: none for septic.
ADDRESS: 7603 South Borba Road
LOCATION: 0.5 miles south of subject property
SEPTIC SYSTEM: Permit Date 1970 proposed system; 80-foot leach line, added septic
lines to existing system. PROPOSED MAXIMUM SEPTIC TANK USAGE ON SITE
The current single family structure is listed as a two (2) bedroom home under the EHD
septic permit and further, has a separate septic system that will not be altered from the
current configuration.
The average and reasonable usage of three to five gallons per day per person typical for
waste disposal and other uses are at 75 to 120 gallons of water per day per person for
washing, in a residential setting (seven days a week).
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
